Dr. Zachary Farhood specializes in cosmetic and functional surgery of the face and neck. His approach combines careful surgical planning with attention to facial balance, individual anatomy, and each patient’s goals.
His areas of focus include deep plane facelifts, rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery, and brow rejuvenation. He develops personalized treatment plans with the goal of achieving natural-looking changes that preserve the features that make each patient unique.
Education and Advanced Surgical Training
Dr. Farhood graduated with High Honors from the University of Texas at Austin and earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. During medical school, he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
His postgraduate training included:
- A clinical research fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina.
- A five-year residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery.
- A fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Toronto, where he trained with Dr. Jamil Asaria.
His academic contributions include more than 50 peer-reviewed publications, presentations, and book chapters. He also previously served as a Clinical Instructor in an AAFPRS-accredited fellowship, helping train other facial plastic surgeons.
